I always wanted such a Lover,
My Madana-Mohana,
Every part of you is beautiful like the Lotus flower!
Whom everyone loves, but none are jealous,
I always wanted such a Lover,
O Madhava, there’s none though whome
Your mercy You cannot shower!
Who loves all equally, and cherishes each relationship,
I always wanted such a Lover,
O Patita-pavana, You generously reciprocate
Every spiritual endeavor!
Who makes everyone love all in relation to Him,
I always wanted such a Lover,
My Govinda, I am so happy to know that
Even after I die our relation will never be over!
Who eternally gives newer and newer realization and tastes,
I always wanted such a Lover,
O Rama you are my only happiness, you are my only treasure,
For You are the Ocean of Pleasure!
Whose names everyone can rightfully chant anytime anywhere,
I always wanted such a Lover,
O Keshava You have delivered so many demons,
Now please be kind and destroy my materialstic cover!
