My head was bursting due to anxious thoughts. Deciding to take a break, I went on a stroll in our farm. A sewerage drain blocked my way. It was too wide for me to jump across. I looked in either direction and found a bridge about hundred meters away. I walked over it and crossed to the other side. Then I turned back . . . the sewerage drain.

I realized that just like this drain came in my way, similarly problems come in our lives, whether we desire them or not. And like this drain, we need to take measures to cross over problems.

The bridge to cross over our problems real or imaginary, big or small is the knowledge that distinguishes matter from spirit. This knowledge helps us cross over from our world of matter and its various stresses and problems to the world of spirit, which is full of joy and bliss. Krishna shared this knowledge with Arjuna and with all of us through the teachings of Bhagavad-gita. Come let’s absorb this knowledge and cross over. . . .
